Razor USA, LLC is a privately held company established in June 2000 and based in Cerritos, California. The company was formed as a joint venture between Razor president Carlton Calvin and JD Corporation, the Taiwanese manufacturer that makes Razor’s outdoor sports products.

Razor USA, LCC distributes and markets the popular Razor-branded scooters and a growing line of innovative ride-on toys. Aside from the PowerWing and PowerWing DLX, other top-selling Razor products include the E100, E200 and E300 electric scooters; Pocket Rocket mini motorcycles; and the Ripstik 2-wheeled self-propelled skateboard.

The company has also created an action video called RVM, featuring Team Razor pro scooter athletes. Team Razor is comprised of young scooter pros aged 9 to 20, who travel the world for demonstrations and competitions.

Razor has received many awards including the Time to Play Editor’s Pick, ATA Outdoor Toy of the Year, Oppenheim Best Toy, Parent’s Magazine Best Toy, Mom’s Best and Family Choice Award.
